NOTICE of DEATH.

DIAGONAL -- Time flies the shuttle and so does Improvment and change in our town and vicinity.

Since my last the scythe of death has been at work and has cut down two, both young, and yet the mother and wife of two of our young men.The first on Dec. 4, the wife of young John GRAHAM and the daughter of our old and well known citizen, Jas. A. BENSON of Washington township. She leaves a husband and child and a large circle of relatives and neighbors to mourn her loss. But they do not mourn as those who have no hope, as Mrs. GRAHAM gave evidence of the hope that was of eternal life. The other, Mrs. John McCAHAN, of Lincoln town-ship, who passed from labor and pain to eternal rest and joy Wednesday, Dec. 18th. She, too, leaves a husband and a family of small children, one an infant, with a large circle of relatives and neighbors to mourn her untimely death, but like Mrs. G. she is sleeps in Jesus.
