Of these eleven children, ten live to mourn the loss of their father. His wife and daughter Mary Elizabeth preceded him in death some years ago. He was an active worker in the church during his early life and by his living set an example for his children that he has never had reasons to regret and of which they are justly proud. His friends were numbered by his acquaintances. He has fought a good fight and he has kept the faith. At last victory is his. We have lost and he has won.
