OBITUARY

Margaret Ann LESAN, 81, of Creston died June 11, 2008, at Greater Regional Medical Center.

Margaret LESAN, daughter of Mary Josephine (PFEIFFER) and George Bierce HOPKINS, was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Creston. She graduated from Creston High School in 1945, received her cosmetology license in Des Moines, and was a hair stylist in Creston for nearly 50 years.

On Feb. 16, 1952, she married Oliver LeRoy "Bud" LESAN in Creston.

Margaret was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.

Survivors include her husband Bud LESAN of Creston; sons, Bob (wife Janel) LESAN of Solon and Tom (wife Danette) LESAN of Creston; daughter Jan LESAN of Creston; brother Robert (wife Judy) HOPKINS of Cromwell; grandchildren, Nicole and Caitlyn LESAN, Christopher Foster and Matt and Skylar LESAN; sister-in-law Beverly FINCH of Yucca Valley, Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Alice MULLEN.

NOTE: Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Creston, Union County, Iowa.
