Roudybush Family Reunion

The 53rd annual reunion of the family of William and Maria GRIFFITH ROUDYBUSH was held on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the home of Jim and Sally BROWN, Lenox. A bountiful dinner was enjoyed by all, followed by visiting and sharing of photographs and games and play by the children present.

Attending were Burl ROUDYBUSH, Joann BALLENGER, Dorothy BURNS and Zoie STAFFORD of Muscatine; Laura WALTON of Iowa City; Carol KELLETT of Aledo, Illinois; Earl, Gary and Kristen ROUDYBUSH of Mount Ayr; Biran and Christian ROUDYBUSH of Osceola; Jerry HALEY of Mount Ayr; Don and Jorene SOBOTKA, Duane and Eula DOLECHECK, Roy and Nancy LUMBARD of Creston; Spencer LUMBARD of Diagonal; Willie, Hope, Grant and Grace HALL of Chariton; Jenny LEONARD of Gravity; Steve and Melanie BARKER of Ames; Josephine and Paul GRAY of Stanton; Clem and Pauline CRUSSEL of Clarinda; Robert, Jack and Ricky POWELL of Saint Louis, Missouri; Pat and John WILSON of Clearfield; Craig, Janie, Logan and Dillan DAVID of Sharpsburg; Joni and Jason ROBERTS of Belton, Missouri; Jamie, Austen and Caeden DAVID, Don and Maralyn BARKER, Ryan and Kristen BROWN, Bob and Kathlyn BROWN, Jim, Sally, D.J., Mitchell and Megan BROWN of Lenox; and Deanna and Mike RIEKE, Maurtica WILLIAMS, Pat and Danielle FORKNER of Des Moines.

A brief meeting was held for election of officers for next year - Joann BALLENGER will stay on as president and Dorothy BURNS will be secretary-treasurer. Next year's reunion will take place on June 25, 2006 at the same location. Much appreciation was expressed to Jim and Sally BROWN for their hospitality in hosting the reunion at their beautiful "Brown Park."

A moment of silence was taken to remember family members, Bill GRAY and Harry HALEY, who died this past year.
