MYRNA L. BEACH

Myrna L. Beach, 51, of Grinnell died Thursday, Nov. 12, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton, with the Rev. Sam Reaves, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Seymour, officiating. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.

The daughter of George M. and Gertrude Virginia Van Baale Trotter, she was born May 16, 1941, in Newton. She attended Newton schools and lived there for most of her life until moving to Grinnell eight years ago.

She was married to Marvin L. Beach Sept. 13, 1958, in Newton.

Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Theresa Cranston of Gilman, Deanna Carmer of Grinnell, Melissa Howell of Le Grand, Jane Shine of Marshalltown and Shannon Beach of Grinnell; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Mike Trotter of Newton; four sisters, Ruth Harger, Nada Allspach and Marvel Jones, all of Newton, and Marsha Kay Sneller of Prairie City; and her parents.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Allen in infancy, and one sistrer, Marvis Vaughn.
