SERVICES CONDUCTED
FOR FRANK LINCOLN

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m today (Monday Feb. 3) at the Smith Funeral Home for Francis Henry (Frank) Lincoln, 76, of Grinnell, who died suddenly Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Smith Davis, 1111 Washington Ave., where he had lived for several years.

The Rev. Leslie O. Warner, pastor of the First Friends Church, officiated at the services. Mrs. Frank Mitchell was organist and Donald Strand, Jerry Reed, Dennis Reed, Jim Klemm, Larry Reed and Gordon Hendrickson were pallbearers.

Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.

The son of Ernest and ElizabethThompson Lincoln, Mr. Lincoln was born Dec. 5, 1892, on a farm in the Oak Grove community. He was married to Nora Martin.

Mr. Lincoln farmed south of Grinnell for many years and later was employed with the street department of the City of Grinnell. He had moved into Grinnell about 35 years ago. He was a member of the Oak Grove Friends Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Smith (Lena) Davis and Mrs. William (Ruby) Reed, both of Grinnell; one sister, Mrs. Susan Whitaker of Grinnell; ten grandchildren -- Mrs. James (Mary) Klemm of Kellogg, Larry Reed of Forest City, Mrs. Donald (Janet) Strand of Iowa City, Mrs. Gordon (Joyce) Reed, all of Grinnell, Mrs. Linda Rice of Des Moines, Francis Shults of Storm Lake and James Shults of Grinnell, and 16 great grandchildren.

Mr. Lincoln was preceded in death by his daughter, Agnes Shults in April, 1967, and by six brothers, Dave, Ernest, Alex, Charles, George and John Lincoln.
