WEDDING BELLS
A beautiful wedding was solemnized in the Ocala, Florida, S.D.A. church on Wednesday evening, Sept. 2. The contracting parties were Robert Howard Pierson, of Brooklyn, Iowa, youngest son of W.G. Pierson, of Belleview, Florida, and Dollis Mae Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.O. Smith, of Summerfield, Florida.

Mrs. Geo. Guthrie sang "Love's Old Sweet Song," and "Oh, Promise Me." Mrs. C.C. Heath played the wedding march. The wedding party stood beneath an archway of bamboo. An array of flowers added to the decorations. Mrs. Melvin Torrance, of Ocala, Florida, sister of the groom, was matron of honor; Mr. John Pierson, of Brooklyn, Iowa, brother of the groom, acted as groomsman; the bride was given in marriage by her father; the ceremony was performed by the writer.

After congratulations were extended to the bridal couple, a reception was held at the Torrance home.

Mr. and Mrs. Pierson are graduates of the Summerfield, Florida high school. Immediately following the wedding they left by car for Collegedale, Tenn., where they are entering Southern Junior College. They are leaving a host of friends in Florida, who are happy to know that they have dedicated their lives to the Master's service.
