SHOEMAKER,-At his residence in this city, at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, Dr. ALEXANDER SHOEMAKER, aged sixty-six years.

The deceased was a drummer boy in the war of 1812. He removed from Ohio to this State In 1854, and engaged in the practice of his profession to which he applied himself closely up to the time of his recent sickness, which was the second time he had ever been so seriously indisposed as to be compelled to take his bed.

The friends of the deceased are invited to attend the funeral from his late residence at 9 o'clock this A. M.
