Peter Nis Lambertsen, 71, was found dead at his home here on Friday, Feb. 22. He had been suffering from a heart ailment and death resulted from a heart attack.

Mr. Lambertsen had substituted for Clarence Boesel as night watchman on Thursday night. Mr. Boesel had gone to the Lambertsen home several times Friday to get his keys and was unable to rouse him. Boesel then noticed the former Marne man's son and they entered the house that night. Mr. Lambertsen had been dead for several hours.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Rieck-Berthusen funeral home with Rev. John M. DeBerg of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery at Brayton, Iowa
