Tuesday Oct. 09, 1888 Page 8Moses Bolton, who was arrested charged with making an assault on J. Y. Berry at the Republican caucus, held in Silver Creek township, was on Berry's own testimony discharged by Justice Bryand at Macedonia last Saturday.
It seems that Berry (who is a noisy Democrat) persisted in attempting to vote at the Republican caucus, and was prevented by Mr. Bolton, hence the arrest of the latter on the charge of disturbing the peace.
