Eolian (Oley) Elvira Griffith went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2014. She was born November 20, 1918 to Leslie and Emily Seiberling. Oley is survived by her son, Jerry (Patti) of Apache Junction, Arizona; daughter, Cathy (Tim) Jeffords of Altoona, Iowa; grandchildren, Heather (Andrew) Strawn, Abby (Andy) Ratzlaff, Natalie Griffith, Jody Griffith, Dawn Griffith (Brent), Kristin (Bob) Rounds and Holly (Scott) Peterson; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Park, son, Gary and brothers, Melvin, Gordon, James and Don Seiberling.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014, at the First Congregational Church of Mitchellville, 211 Park Ave. NE with burial to follow at Mitchellville Cemetery.
