John Marshall Albaugh II, 51, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his home in Altoona. A Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Des Moines.

John was born February 3, 1962 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He was a manufacturing representative for many years. John enjoyed listening to music, reading, fishing, camping, playing guitar and spending time with his family and friends.

John is survived by his four children, Graham, Tessa, Zach and Austin; two grandchildren; mother, Lu Albaugh; father, John (Debra) Albaugh; four siblings, Kristi, Kent, Jay and Bob; aunt, Sally Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at McLaren's Chapel. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
