Richard Formaro, 58, passed away on October 23, 2013. Visitation will be 3-5:00 pm, Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Iles Grandview Park Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 28 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Richard was born in Des Moines and worked as an Optician for Eye Care of Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Jacob; daughter, Clover Twombley; mother, Clara Formaro; five grandchildren, Clayton, Josie, Kara, Nathan and Carlin; siblings, Jerry (Barb), Lanny, and Charlene (Tom) Bowen; nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.
