Louann Hunt, 66, passed away October 22, 2013. She was born March 29, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Garnet Gibson.

Louann was an avid seamstress which led to her passion of quilting. She loved shopping and watching football.

Louann is survived by her children, Laura McCulloch, Larry (Debbie) Hunt, Jr., and Larissa (BJ Weeks) Hunt; her granddaughters, Crystal McCulloch and another on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday evening from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
