Preceded in death by wife, Harriet O. Hermann. Survived by children: Marcia Manzo, Pamela Hagan, Teresa Dombrowski, Rebecca Hermann, John E. Hermann, and David R. Hermann; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Paul J. Hermann, Robert J. Hermann, and James E. Hermann.
Visitation begins Friday, 2 p.m., with family receiving friends 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel. Visitation Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m. at Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater, IA. Services Monday, 11 a.m., Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley, IA. Interment in Sheldahl, Iowa Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials will be directed by the family.
