CELEBRATE THEIR GOLDEN WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stoll of Des Moines Have Family Reunion Christmas—Former Fire Chief.

WITH their relatives and children about them, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stoll of Des Moines celebrated their golden wedding Christmas. Stoll is an old resident of the capital city and was a member of the first volunteer fire department. For sixteen years he ran with the machine and six of these years he was assistant chief and two years chief. They were married at Etna, Mo., in 1859, and came to Des Moines in 1854.
There are now thirty-nine in the family, one of them a greatgrandchild.
The nine children who were all born in Des Moines and have lived here ever since are Lewis Stoll, Jacob Stoll, Jr., Mrs. William Brady, Mrs. D. E. Inman, Mrs. G. W. Riley, Mrs. James Boyd, Mrs. C. M. Thomas and Fred and Edward Stoll.
