Note: She is the daughter of John and Margaret (Hanson) Johnson also buried in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. August Nilson passed away at her home northwest of town in Union county, South Dakota, Tuesday morning, March 19, 1929, after an extended illness, of multiple sclerosis.

The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Akron Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by the pastor, Wilson Gow. There was a large attendance at the services. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
