Note: His mother's maiden name was Van Arndalen.

Eudell A. Buck, 44, Council Bluffs, Iowa, a former Sioux Cityan, died Friday at the Veterans hospital in Omaha after a long illness.

Mr. Buck was born September 6, 1918, in Miller S. D. and later resided in Sioux City, Omaha, and Council Bluffs. He was a checker for Watson Wilson Transfer company in Council Bluffs. He was a veteran of World War 2 and served in Pacific Theater.

Survivors include the widow Hilda: a daughter Mrs. Daniel Van Winkel and a son William E. of Sioux City; his mother Mrs. Margaret M. Marley of Kansas City, Mo.; sister Mrs. Wayne Adams of Council Bluffs; a step-daughter, Mrs. George Reinhardt of Omaha; a brother Clarence W. Buck of Sioux City and two grandchildren.

The W. Harry Christy funeral home has charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Eudell A. Buck of Council Bluffs, a former Sioux Cityan who died Frida, will be at 2 p.m. Monday W. Harry Christy funeral home. George G. Hunt, pastor of First Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery Akron, Ia.

Pallbearers will be Earl Deits, Chris Tracy, Hyle Felix, Tony Kelleher, John Medlin and Stanley Bernashek.
