Andy E. Ohme, vice president of the Primghar Savings Bank and one of this area's best known livestock men, died Thursday in a Rochester, Minnesota hospital a few days after suffering a heart attack. For several years, Mr. Ohme was a part owner of the Paullina Livestock Sales pavilion and has always been active in this community.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Seivert Funeral Home in Primghar, and at Siloam Lutheran church, here. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery.

Ohme,59 at the time of his death, was born April 5, 1900, on the family farm near Gaza. He lived on the farm until moving to Primghar in recent years.

Becoming a director of Primghar Savings Bank in 1943, he served as president of the board until January 1956. Since that time he has remained on the board and served as vice-president.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Louis Wurl of Deer Lodge, Montana, and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Mitchell, Paullina, and Mrs. Emma Gilmer of Minneapolis, and with other other relatives.
