Funeral services for Gladys B. Morrison, 87, Wilton, will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 1996 at Lacock-Bentley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Kathy Luethye is the organist and Henry Bentley will sing. Pallbearers are Diana Pardie, Susan Telepnev, Bobbi Kraklio, Sherry Bowers, Melissa and Jennifer Schneekloth, Brian and Eric Yerington, Bruce James, Pam Okland, Steve, Scott and Craig Freeman, Tammy Oberhaser and Michael Morrison. Burial will be in the North Prairie cemetery, West Liberty.

Mrs. Morrison died Feb. 18 at Community Care of Muscatine.

The daughter of Fred and Varena Crees Schafnit, she was born May 15, 1908 in Atalissa. She married George W. Morrison Dec. 24, 1928 in Wilton. He died in 1992.

Mrs. Morrison was a member of the Presbyterian faith, the Wilton Garden Club and the Get Together Club in Atalissa.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Don) Freeman, Waverly; Doris Yerington, Muscatine; Janice (Mrs. Jerry) Schneekloth, Wilton; and Marilyn (Mrs. Floyd) James, Cedar Falls; a son, Richard Morrison, Wilton; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, George Morrison; a brother and a sister.
