Funeral services for Daniel Fernando Sanchez, 5, Muscatine, were held Feb. 9, 1996 at the West Liberty United Methodist church, with the Rev. Darwin Moore officiating. Mrs. Marianne Phelps was the organist and pallbearers were Luis Castro, Mike Sievers, Cristobal Sanchez and Santiago Sanchez. Burial was in Springdale cemetery.
Daniel Sanchez died Feb. 6 at Muscatine General hospital, following an extended illness.
The son of Francisco and Kendra Hubler Sanchez, he was born June 19, 1990 in Iowa City. He was a kindergarten student at Garfield elementary school.
He is survived by his parents; 2 brothers, Antonio Jay Mendoza, Jr. and Jose Agustin Sanchez, both at home; his paternal grandparents, Agustin Sanchez and Balvina Mora, both of Mexico; and maternal grandparents, Richard and Paula Hubler, Tipton.
