Funeral services for Nadine J. Paarman, 62, Stockton, were held Jan. 5, 1996 at Lacock-Bentley Funeral Home in Durant, with interment in the Walcott cemetery.

Mrs. Paarman died Jan. 2 at Genesis Medical Center East in Davenport.

The daughter of Erwin and Viona Bernhart Edwards, she was born Feb. 13, 1933 in Muscatine county. She married Marvin L. Paarman Dec. 29, 1948 in Wilton.

She was employed as a forklift operator at IH Farmall until retirement.

Mrs. Paarman was an avid bingo player, reader and traveler. She enjoyed visiting the boats in the Quad Cities.

She is survived by her husband; 5 daughters, Connie (Mrs. Dennis) Schultz, Mt. Vernon; Kathy (Mrs. William) Harrop, Davenport; Melody (Mrs. Edward) Gerdts, Muscatine; Cindy (Mrs. Melvin) Stinde, Elkhart; and Kerrie (Mrs. Michael) Hutchinson, Davenport; a son, Murray (Melanie) Paarman, Stockton; a sister, Joyce (Mrs. Jerry) French, Sweetwater, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandy Paarman, in infancy; 2 grandsons; and a brother, Claire Edwards.
