Funeral services for Amy N. Hill, 84, Wilton, were held Jan. 9, 1996 at the United Methodist church in Wilton with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Kathy Luethye was the organist and Henry Bentley sang. Pallbearers were grandchildren Terry, Jeffery and Gregory Predmore, Brian and Catherine Dillard, and Vicki Kaufman. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Hill, Loren Lenker and Gerald Goodwin. Burial was in the Greenwood cemetery, Muscatine.
Mrs. Hill died Jan. 6 at the Muscatine Care Center.
The daughter of Charley and Nancy Creiger Patterson she was born Feb. 25, 1911 in Wapello. She married Walter E. Predmore Nov. 24, 1930 in Muscatine. He died in 1952. She married H. Clare Hill Feb. 2, 1969 in Muscatine. He died Feb. 13, 1984.
She was a member of the United Methodist church in Wilton and the Golden Links, and the Wilton American Legion Auxiliary, where she was a past president. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Purity Chapter, Wilton and the Muscatine County Farm Bureau Women.
Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Charles) Dillard, Peoria, Ill.; a son, Richard Predmore, Helena, Ark.; a sister, Hazel McKnight, Rock Island, Ill.; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and a grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist church in Wilton.
