Funeral services for Zona R. Fogg, 83, Iowa City, were held Oct. 14, 1993 at the George L. Gay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Poster officiating. Burial was in the Oakridge cemetery in West Liberty.

Zona Fogg died Oct. 11 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, following a short illness.

The daughter of Arthur and Halcyon Maxon Fogg, she was born July 3, 1910 in Muscatine county. She graduated from Springdale high school and Northern Illinois State Teachers College in DeKalb.

Zona Fogg was an elementary school teacher, worked in business offices in Iowa City, at the University of Iowa and in the X-ray department at Oakdale. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

She is survived by a sister, Arthene Schilling, Roscoe, Ill.; a brother-in-law, O. D. Bartholow, Iowa City; a sister-in-law, Laverne Fogg, Tipton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
