Linda K. Anderson, 80, of Lake Havasu City, AZ died Friday, Jul. 11, 2025 at an Albuquerque hospital.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug 30, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Whiting City Cemetery, with Jack Gibler officiating. There will be a gathering following the services at the Whiting Community Center.

Linda Kaye was born Sep. 5, 1944, to LaVern and Sally (Hintz) Harding, in the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended grade school in both Climbing Hill and Whiting, graduating from Whiting High School in 1962. On Nov. 18, 1962, she married Gerald "Gary" Dean Anderson in the Christian Church in Whiting. Gary preceded her in death Oct 21, 2021.

Before graduation and marriage, she worked in the Harding Sinclair Station in Whiting alongside her brothers as well as helping with the family custom farming business. Following marriage, Linda and Gary operated the KOA campground in East Albuquerque. She worked 10 years at First National Bank of Albuquerque and later a few years at Home Depot. She owned and operated her own craft store "Sugar Shack" for many years in both Albuquerque and Lake Havasu City. She owned and managed several commercial buildings in Lake Havasu City.

She had a passion for making pottery and painting. She paid great attention to detail in her work.

Linda is survived by her son Gary Lee Anderson of Bosque Farms, New Mexico, her brother Burnell (Joyce) Harding of Turin, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary, and brother, Roger.
