Larry D. Clark, 67, of Whiting, Iowa passed away Friday, July 9, 2021.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:30 A.M. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa led by Jack Gibler. A time of remembrance will follow at Buddy’s Tavern in Whiting, Iowa. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Larry Donald Clark was born November 23, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Kenneth Harold and Annette McDole (Scott) Clark. He grew up in Whiting and graduated from Whiting High School in 1972.

Larry and Jannelle V. Johnson were married on June 5, 1976 in Onawa, Iowa, and were blessed in 1983 with a son named Josh.

Larry and his brother Garry worked for their dad in the Erosion Control Business, Clark Seeding. Larry later took over the business and added the construction business, becoming owner/operator of Clark Construction.

He enjoyed NASCAR, Motorcycles, Drag Racing, and watching the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his wife, Jannelle Clark of Whiting, Iowa; son, Josh (Chastity) Clark of Sarasota, Florida; two grandchildren, Jace Asher Clark and Camille Ashlyn Clark; his twin brother, Garry Clark of Whiting, Iowa; brother, Harold Clark of Emerson, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Annette (Scott) Clark; two brothers, Ival Clark and Ronnie Clark; nephew, Steven Clark; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Clark and JoAnn Clark; and his dog companion, “Beau”.
