Died of Exposure.
Osage, July 18—Calvin Pond, an aged resident of Mitchell, was found near the river at that place Friday, where he had lain for nearly two days in an unconscious state. He built a wire fence across the Cedar river and had completed his work and returned to the shore where he changed his wet clothing for a dry suit, afterward, apparently having been taken with a fainting fit caused by standing in the water. He was not found for over thirty-six hours and survived but a few hours after being taken home.
