Pauline M. Rasmussen was born on July 21, 1917, in Hayes County, Nebraska.

She died on November 17, 1994 in Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. Funeral services were held on November 19, 1994 at Deer creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter, Iowa. Interment was in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood, Worth County, Iowa.

She was the mother of Janice; grandmother of Scott and Mark, and great-grandmother of Allison.

Arrangements were by Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, Iowa.

Casket bearers were Kenneth Leraaen, Olaf Grosland, Craig Patterson, Charles Skjeveland, Sale Rasmusen and Frank Voet.
