Ella Othilda Stromley Etheridge was born February 24, 1894, the daughter of Ole Mortenson Stromley and Kari/Carrie Fadness Stromley.

She grew up in the areas of Stacyville, Deer Creek and Otranto. She married Clifford Etheridge.

Her nine brothers were: Andrew, Carl, Martin, Oscar, Christian, Raymond, Henry, Edwin, and Kaiser; her three sisters were: Clara, Rena and Jenny.

She died in Orange Co, Florida in January 1965.
