Jurgen “George” Mumm
March 25, 1876 – July 31, 1958

RICEVILLE--Jurgen Mumm, 82, retired farmer, died late Thursday at a Charles City nursing home. He had been there three months.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. William Dynes, Riceville; a son, Ralph, Portland, Ore.; two sisters Mrs. Peter Bendixen, Modesto, Calif.; and Mrs. Henry Blocker, Winnepeg, Canada.

Funeral services will be Monday at the Riceville funeral Home. The Rev. Walter Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Fay, in 1928 and his wife in 1944.
