Alfred E. Gerleman c1930-1985

A funeral mass for Alfred E. Gerleman, 55, of Stacyville, was held on Tuesday, October 1 at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. The Rev. Carl Manternach officiated and burial was in the Visitation Cemetery. He died on Saturday, September 28, 1985 at Stacyville.

Mr. Gerleman lived in Stacyville the past 30 years. He had been an employee of Theobald Implement Co. and was a farm worker.

He was a member of the American Legion at Stacyville.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Veronica) Roethler of Alta Vista, and Mrs. Max (Jovina) Scally of New Hampton; four brothers: Herman of Des Moines, Gene of Fort Atkinson, Gilbert of Charles City and Joseph of Rockford, Minnesota.
