MRS. ANNA EGAN

Waterloo---Mrs. Anna Egan 81, of 2210 Rainbow Dr., Cedar Falls, died at St. Francis hospital Monday at 1 p.m. of complications incidental to advance age.

The daughter of Daniel and Catherine O'Connell, she was born in Elma, Ia., February 19, 1868.

A former resident of Elma, Ia., and Osage, Ia., she came to Waterloo in 1910, later moving to Cedar Falls to make her home with a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Glaza, with whom she was living at the time of her death.

She was married to James Egan in Elma, Ia., January 10, 1888. Mrs Egan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church and Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are a son, Donald, Jackson, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Glaza, 2210 Rainbow drive, Cedar Falls; two brothers, John O'Connell, San Diego, Cal., and Will, Elma, Ia.; four sisters, Mrs. C. J. Barrett, Oconto, Neb., Mrs. B. E. McCracken, San Diego, Cal., Mrs. A. D. Conway, Elma, Ia., and Mrs. Edward McPeek, Watertown, S.D.; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband December 16, 1926, a daughter, Miss Mayme Egan, and a son, LaVerne Egan.

The body is at O'Keefe & Towne funeral home where final arrangements are pending.
