RICEVILLE, IOWA — George Edward Templeton, 91, of Riceville, died Tuesday (Jan. 27, 1998) at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, with the Rev. Stephen Elderbrock officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home.

George Edward Templeton was born on February 11, 1906, on the family farm south of Riceville.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Jones, of LeRoy, Minn., and Janet Britain, of Spring Grove, Minn.; nine grand-children; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, three brothers and one sister.
