Donna Jean Wilson

February 22, 1954 - July 01, 2020

Donna Jean Wilson, 66, passed away in Rochester at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Mary’s Campus.

Donna was born on February 22, 1954, the daughter of Gernard and Pearl (Backus) Duryee in Osage, Iowa. She attended Riceville Iowa Schools and was united in marriage to Dean Wilson on March 16, 1981, in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Donna worked at Rochester Medical Center in Stewartville, Libby’s in Rochester and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, the outdoors, hiking, reading and baking.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Anna Wilson, Rochester, MN and Daphne Wilson, Rochester, MN; one grandson, Lucas Dean Wilson; two sisters, Cherie Landers, Greene, Iowa; Barbara Woolworth, Cresco, Iowa; two brothers, Leonard Duryee, Leland, Iowa and Wayne Duryee, Osage, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dean Wilson; a sister, Katherine in infancy, sister Diane; brothers, Marvin, Verne, Darrell, Gordon, James, and Ronald.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 660th Avenue, Sargeant, MN. Interment will be in Evanger Lutheran Cemetery. Blessed be her memory.

Due to the current health concerns and restrictions, please respect social distancing, and the wearing of face masks at the visitation and at the church service.
