Miss Carrie Peterson, daughter of Mrs. K. Peterson of this place, died yesterday morning after a long and painful illness, from consumption, aged about seventeen years. Miss Peterson was a lady respected by all who knew her, an earnest Christian and a person who enjoyed the confidence and esteem of the community in which she resided. Last winter she fell a victim to that dread disease, consumption, which has since continued its deadly work until yesterday morning when it reached its fatal termination.
The funeral services will be held at the Norwegian Lutheran Church tomorrow. The relatives of the deceased have the sympathy of the people of this community in this their hour of sorrow.
