Biography--
Betty Jane Jensen, 68, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals.
Betty was born January 31, 1949 in Osage, Iowa, daughter of Harold and Barbara (Walitschek) Fox. She attended St. Ansgar High School. Betty married Wayne H. Jensen on April 20, 1968, in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on June 25, 2003.
She worked at Tyson’s Fresh Meats for 22 years before retiring in 2011. Betty enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching television, especially the news and NASCAR racing.
Betty is survived by: a son, James Jensen of Waukee; two daughters: Kristen (Robert) Collins of Flashing, Michigan and Dawn Jensen of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren: Dillion, Michael, David, Cameron, Lisa, and Liliann; and two brothers: Howard Fox of St. Ansgar and Albert “Eddie” (Arlene) Fox of Rolling Stone, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by: her parents and her husband.
