Funeral rites for an Osage resident, Jesse J. Donner, 88, were held Monday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Donner died on April 10, 1981 at the White House of Osage Nursing Home. Rev. J. Roth was in charge of the rites, and burial was in the church cemetery, Arrangements were by C. R. Champion and Sons.

Jesse Donner was born in Mitchell County on April 20, 1892, the son of Louis and Julia Richardson Donner. His marriage to Margaret Klaes took place on February 1, 1921, in New Haven, Iowa. They lived all of their married life in Osage. he was a painter and for many years worked for Mitchell County, retiring 20 years ago. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; one son, Robert, of Osage; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Donner of St. Paul; and one sister, Ina May of Osage.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Lloyd.
