Alice Charlotte (Jacobson) Janssen – November 23, 1909 – May 11, 1963

Charles City --- Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Grace Methodist Church in Floyd, for Mrs. Bernard Janssen, 53. She died Saturday evening at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Charles City with the Hauser Funeral Home in charge.
Alice Charlotte Jacobson was born November 23, 1909 in Floyd County, the daughter of John and Susan Mericle Jacobson. She was married to Bernard Janssen March 13, 1934
She is survived by her husband; two daughters; Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Solberg, Rochester, Minnesota; Mrs. Robert (Bernadine) Poppens, Ackley; two sons, B. Francis Janssen, Floyd; and LeRoy Janssen, at home; two grandchildren; four sisters; Mrs. Rose Allen; Mrs. John Wornholtz, both of Floyd; Mrs. Chris Anderson and Mrs. Paul Ervin, both of Charles City.
A brother, Theron Jacobson, and her parents preceded her in death.
