Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig Utesch March 30, 1897 -- October 9, 1919

Henry Fred Louis Utesch was born March 30, 1897, at Utan, Nebraska, where his childhood days were spent. His intention was to study for the ministry and he accordingly matriculated in a divinity college in St. Paul, but after a year and a half study there he was obliged to give up his cherished object on account of illness. Since that time he stayed at home, always a pious and industrious son.
About two weeks ago, he became ill and owing to a weakened heart, his condition steadily grew worse, till at last he passed away October 9. His bereaved parents, three brothers and five sisters mourn his untimely departure, his age being 22 years, 6 months and 21 days.
The funeral took place last Saturday afternoon at the Lutheran church and the body was laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery.

Heinrich was the son of Henry Frederic Sr. and Christina Utesch. They had another son with a very similar name;
Henry Mathias Utesch born February 23, 1887 in Germany who is buried in the Wayne Cemetery, Mitchell, Iowa
