Mrs. Coonradt Dies at Osage; Rites Thursday
OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Alma Coonradt, age 77. She died Tuesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital where she had been hospitalized for two and a half months. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Born, Alma Runge, to W. D. and Della Runge, March, 1882, in Dane County, Wisconsin. She came to Osage at age 12 with her parents.
She was married to Ward Coonradt in 1908. A former Mitchell County supervisor, he preceded her in death in 1955.
Survivors include four sons: Robert, Dean, and Warren, all of Osage, and Clair, of Fort Dodge; and three daughters: Mrs. John (Gloria) Moore, Mrs. Richard (Bonnie) Church, both of Osage, and Mrs. Richard (June) May, Norfolk, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; three sisters: Miss Hazel and Miss Dora Runge, both of Osage. and Mrs. Warren Guy, Uplands, California; and by two brothers, Walter and Ed, both of Osage.
