Will Admitted to Probate Feb. 1941.
Anna Hoel died January 7, 1941.

I, Mrs. Anna Hoel, of Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and mindful of the uncertainty of human life, do hereby make and declare the following instrument as and for my last Will and Testament revoking all former wills.
1. I direct that all of my just debts and expenses of my last sickness and funeral be first paid, that a monument be erected over my grave and that 2 head-stones, or a double marker, be provided for my grave and the grave of my husband.
2. I hereby give, devise and bequeath to Mrs. Alice Stokes the sum of $100 and to my brothers and sisters, to-wit: Mrs. Alice Kaufman, Mrs. Minnie Kaufman, Henry Wilk, and Bertha Heusman the sum of $100 each, providing they are living at the time of my death.
3. To my nieces and nephews I hereby give, devise and bequeath to Albert Frese, $25; Herbert Frese, $25; Albert Muller, $25, Fred Muller, $25; Minnie Muller, $25; Lizzie Muller, $25; Earnest Meister, $25; Mrs. Manford Olseon, $5.00; Lester Heusman, $25, and Elmer Heusman, $25, providing they are living at the time of my death.
4. To my sister, Mrs. Bertha Heusman, I hereby give, devise and bequeath my davenport and chair.
5. To my beloved husband, Edwin Hoel, I hereby give, devise and bequeath the life use of all of my property, both real and personal, after the paying of the above mentioned specific bequests. After the life use I hereby direct that all of my real estate shall be sold and that the proceeds from the sale of the farm shall be given as follows: 1/4 is hereby given to the City of Osage to be used for hospital purposes in conjunction with the hospital fund left by Karen Nissen estate; and the other 3/4 is hereby given in equal shares to the Christian Home, Council Bluffs, Iowa; The Lutheran Orphans Home, Waverly, Iowa; and The Lutheran Home Finding Society of Iowa, Fort Dodge, Iowa. I hereby direct that if the farm should be sold prior to my death that these bequests shall be paid from the proceeds of the sale after life use.
6. All the rest,and residue of my estate, both real and personal and mixed, I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my brothers and sisters, to-wit: Mrs. Alice Kaufman, Mrs. Minnie Kaufman, Henry Wilk, and Bertha Heusman, or their heirs.
7. I hereby nominate and ask the Court to appoint as Executors of this, My Last Will and Testament, Edwin Hoel and Walter E. Sheldon, and ask that they shall not be required to furnish bonds, and I further designate that the Executors shall have the right to sell any or all of my real estate and convert the same into cash at their own option without appraisement or order of court.
In Witness wereof, I have to this, My Last Will and Testament, subscribed my name, this last day of August A.D, 1929.
