LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
of Betsey M. West,

Admitted to probate on Oct. 15, 1915

“Carpenter, Iow. March 20, 1896

In the Name of My God, Amen. I, Betsey Miranda West being in feeble Wealth but sound in Mind and knowing that Life is unsertin and being Desirus of settling My Worldley Afairs and Dictating How the Property that God has blest me with should be Devided do hear Bequest that after my Death that my Farm in Otranto Township and What belongs to me on said Farm as a good Deal of the Stock Belongs to My Son Henry P. West after he takes his out the Rest to be Equaly Divided between my 4 Children namely Waren C. West, Clark S. West, Francelie L. Belden and Henry P. West my son Waren C. West share after his Death to go to his 2 Eldest Children, James E. West and Mattie Maxon My House and Loots in Carpenter to my Son Henry P. West also that he should have Pay for Careying for Me the Last 10 years I apoint Clark S. West and Henry P.West Administrators of the Estate and my Request is that have to give no bond. I have made this Will mostly as your Farther Dictated I Hear by Sine Betsey M. West.”

Clark S. West, the Executor nominated in the Will is appointed such Executor and duly qualifies.
