In the Name of God, Amen.
I, Joseph Robbins, of the town of Jenkins in the county of Mitchell and State of Iowa, of the age of sixty-eight years and being of sound mind, do make and publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, in the manner following, that is to say.
First. I give and bequeath to my wife, Jane Robbins, one half of all my personal property and to my daughter, Marilla C. Robbins, one half (or the ballance) of all my personal property.Second. I devise to my daughter, Marilla C. Robbins aforesaid, her heirs and assigns that tract of land as follows, the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section No. Six (6) in Township No. Ninety-nine (99) North of Range Fifteen (15) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, containing forty acres, more or less.
Third. I give and devise all the rest of my real estate to my said wife, Jane Robbins and my said daughter, Marilla C. Robbins, to be divided equally between them, after they, that is Jane Robbins and Marilla Robbins shall have paid to my son, William R. Robbins, one hundred dollars
and to my son, Cyrus R. Robbins, one hundred dollars, and to my daughter Bashti Reynolds one hundred dollars, and to my daughter Mary E. Hall one hundred dollars, and to my daughter Electa Potter one hundred dollars. Said sums to be paid by Jane Robbins and Marilla C. Robbins within one year after my decease. It is further agreed and understood and is my will that the said Jane Robbins and Marilla C. Robbins shall provide for and support my daughter Emma Jane Robbins during her natural life, she now being nearly helpless, but in case she should outlive the said Jane Robbins and Marilla C. Robbins then she is to have enough out of their property for her support during life.I hereby appoint Joseph Reynolds sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
