Knud J. Frit was born in Norway, Dec. 31,1830. He came to America in 1861, and lived in Wisconsin for three years. He then came to Mitchell county, Iowa, where he has since resided. He married Alice Severson, April 15, 1869. They have two children - John and Jennie. Mr. Frit is a member of the Lutheran Church.
