NEWSPAPER CLIPPING

VET DISCHARGED — Sgt. Dean Culbertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noris Culbertson of Carpenter, has been discharged from the army and is now at the home of his parents.

He was inducted in June, 1943, and was overseas 16 months serving in the battles of Ardennes-Rhineland, Central Europe and the Ruhr. He received the combat infantryman's badge, the good conduct medal, American campaign medal, victory medal and the European medal with three bronze stars.
