Mrs. Martha Techau
Mrs. Martha Techau, 81, 309 Ross St., died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Miss Ella Techau. Her death resulted from a heart attack.
She had been a resident of Council Bluffs 12 years. Prior to that, she resided at Mineola. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Mineola.
Her survivors include: six sons: Carl Fisher of Council Bluffs, Henry and Donald Techau of Glenwood, Nick Techau of Council Bluffs, Fred Techau of Silver City, and Albert Techau of Wagner, Okla.; five daughters, Mrs. Martha Schoening, Miss Ella Techau and Mrs. Anita Fox, all of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Audrey Knight of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Olga Voght of Neola; sister, Mrs. Anna Brahmst of Germany; 12 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday will be held at the Meyer Chapel at 1 p.m. and at St. John's Lutheran Church at Mineola at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Alton Schwandt will officiate. Interment will be made in the Mineola Cemetery.
