Funeral services for John Aduddell, age 85 of Pleasantville, will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mason Funeral Home with Military Honors accorded by the Pleasantville American Legion Post No. 108 to follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasantville Cemetery at a later date.
John passed away on Sunday at the Pleasant Care Living Center. He worked for Allied Insurance and IMT Insurance in Des Moines prior to his retirement. John was also very active with the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, June; children, Jo Ellen Aduddell and Susan (Louie) Plude of Des Moines, Steve Lehman of Branson, Missouri, Robert (Tammi) Lehman of Nevada; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Larry) Sowder of Goral Gables of Florida; brother, Edward (Nancy) Aduddell of Gravois Mills, Missouri.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Mason Funeral Home.
