Kenneth was born in Knoxville, Iowa to Irven and Ardice Dhabalt on January 10, 1950.

He graduated from Melcher High School and then worked for John Deere in Ankeny retiring in 2003 after 31 years.

Kenneth enjoyed people. He is described as unselfish, compassionate, and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and found his grandchildren to be the joy of his life. Kenneth had fun with his family boating, camping, and cutting wood. He belonged to the UAW Local 450 and was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.

Kenneth passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Indianola.

He was preceded in death by his father Irven "Doc" Dhabalt; brother Johnnie; and infant brother Garland.

Kenneth is survived by his mother Ardice Dhabalt of Melcher-Dallas; his wife of 37 years Trudi Dhabalt; children: Kerry (Brian) Kingery of Indianola, and Ryan (Allison) Dhabalt of Mason City; four grandchildren: Avery, Drew, Maximus, and Celeste; a sister Patricia (Don) Hawxby and a brother Jack (Sheri) Dhabalt both of Melcher-Dallas; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
