June Collins was born June 11, 1918 in Preston, Idaho the daughter of Earl Blair and Edith (Lucherini) Blair.

She was raised in Idaho with a loving family that included 5 siblings.

On November 23, 1935 she was united in marriage to Clark Collins and was sealed for time and eternity on July 10, 1979 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. The couple lived in Idaho and Washington State. June spent the last nine years of her life in Pleasantville.

June was a diligent worker; at a young age she worked in a small store where her responsibilities included working at the grocery store and post office, and pumping gas. She later worked as a nurse’s aid and then as an insurance clerk for a hospital.

In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and playing cards. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her many grandchildren. June will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a devoted member of the Knoxville Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

June passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at her home, in Pleasantville, at the age of 90 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clark; twin daughters, Jean and June; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters and 3 brothers.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Marlyn (Karl) Calhoun of Tucson, Arizona; Carl (Joyce) Collins of Ammon, Idaho; Patsy (Bill) Bray of Scio, Oregon and Connie (Larry) Collins of Pleasantville; 17 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Burial: Inkom City Cemetery Idaho
