Ian James Kelly was born on October 29, 2006 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was the son of Gintare Cipinyte and Andrew Lee Kelley. Ian passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital at the age of 2 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Ian was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jadvyga and Aleksandras Cipiniai, Wayne and Wanda Nearmyer and Clarence Kelley.

Those family members left to mourn his passing are his parents, G and Andy Kelley of Des Moines; grandparents, Judy and Jim Kelley of Knoxville and Birute and Stasys Cipiniai of Kaunas, Lithuania; great-grandparents, Danute and Stanislovas Tylunai of Kaunas, Lithuania, and Jennell Kelley of LaPlatta, MO; 3 aunts and uncles, Egle and Erikas Cipinyte of Kaunas, Lithuania, Matthew Kelley of Knoxville, and Daniel Kelley and his wife, Tiffany of Davenport; G’s host family, David and Lisa Herring of North Caroline; Magdeline, Maryellen and William Herring also of North Carolina.

Services for Ian were held on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Celebrate Community Church with Rev. Brent Hanna officiating. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. Casket bearers were Benjamin Bruns, Daniel and Matthew Kelley and Michael Muno. Honorary casket bearers were Benjamin Bingham, Jeffrey Muno, Thad and Todd Nearmyer.
